OCPA-OH - Community Policing Award

Community policing award

The 2026 Community Policing award is designed to recognize and thank organizations or individuals that have made an outstanding contribution in community policing as collaborators with the Ohio Crime Prevention Association and demonstrate the success of community engagement. The selected practitioner will be recognized at the 2026 Ohio Crime Prevention Association's Annual Conference Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, March 23rd 2026.

Eligibility:

Anyone.

Nomination Criteria:

Nominations can be made by anyone with knowledge of the community policing endeavors.
Nominations MUST include a detailed description of the outstanding work accomplishments of the community policing programs and engagement. (This will be highlighted at the annual awards luncheon, so please be specific.

NOTE: Nominations will be accepted until Friday, February 27th, 2026.
