District Four Meeting

The Director of Landfill Operations will give an overview of the engineering involved in a major landfill. He will also be the tour guide on the bus (which seats 24).  If needed, we will do two back to back tours.

We will also have input from our PR Department, show an 11 minute film on the history of Rumpke.  I’ll have Rumpke’s West Area Safety Manager Bridgett Biggs speak to the group and I plan to talk about our fleet of 1,800 CMV’s operating in 4 states, and some of the challenges we face.

For lunch, I’m going to recommend Snow’s Lakeside Tavern, right around the corner on Dry Ridge Road. Give me a few minutes and I’ll have a map to you of Snow’s and how to get there. It’s a recently renovated sports bar/restaurant that is really top shelf.

Directions for the meeting:

I-275 to the Colerain Ave Exit 33 (SR 27, 126). Go north on Colerain Ave.

Turn right on Struble Road, third traffic light, right after the Speedway Gas Station.

Take the SECOND driveway on the left. Parking will be on both sides of this driveway.

Enter building under the RED awning, go to the second floor.

The training room will be around the corner on the left.
