TRANSITION INTO CRIME PREVENTION

 

Applicable to any officer or frontline supervisor who must take on the added responsibilities of crime prevention, problem-solving or program management.  These tasks can be quite different from the daily patrol routine and requires attentive communication skills and organization to address the needs of the community.  In this class we will cover the latest in crime prevention programs, trends and best practices utilized by urban and rural law enforcement agencies and how to work effectively and efficiently with the community. 

Training Cost: 
$85 OCPA Member; $100 Non-member or $145 for training and OCPA membership. Training will be held daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
