About the OCPA

Our Mission

Established on the foundation that crime can be prevented, the Ohio Crime Prevention Association is committed to the development and advancement of a continuum of educational opportunities in crime prevention and community policing, to ultimately improve the quality of life in Ohio communities.

Values

We value member oriented professional training to form effective collaborative partnerships in preventing crime and addressing quality of life issues for the communities that we serve. Crime prevention is everyone’s business.

Goals (Not listed in priority order)

1. Provide the membership with a variety of basic and advanced resources, educational opportunities and networking.

2. Collaborate with nontraditional crime prevention consumers to create new approaches to prevent victimization.

3. Conduct effective marketing and image promotion programs.

4. Grow and maintain a fiscally sound, effective and efficient organizational infrastructure that supports achievement of OCPA goals and objectives.
