The Ohio Crime Prevention Association (OCPA) was founded in 1977 by a group of dedicated law enforcement officers concerned about the safety of Ohio residents. Today, as the largest state crime prevention association in the nation, OCPA is Ohio’s central clearinghouse for state and national crime prevention and community policing training and resources, and maintains a diverse membership representing law enforcement, government, business, and community partners.

OCPA conferences consistently provide participants with professional crime prevention training and a uniquely structured agenda that emphasizes peer networking as a valuable learning tool. From nationally recognized keynotes, to workshops on meth labs, identity theft, elder abuse, media relations, human trafficking, domestic violence and various other crime prevention topics, you will receive training and materials to more effectively build safer communities.
